-Your Immigration Status

If you have any questions about your immigration status, you should contact LSC.  We will always keep conversations with our intake line private.

I left my country because people were treating me badly because they knew (or thought) I was gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.  Can I get my immigration papers because of this?

You may be able to get your papers if you were treated badly because people knew (or thought) you were gay or transgender, and you are afraid to return to your country.  You should contact LSC to talk about this.
